Lourofood is a company, founded in 2000, which is dedicated to processing and marketing various types of national and international cheese: Flemish, Edam, Gouda, Cheddar, Emmental and Mozzarella are some examples of the wide variety on offer.
Our mission is to offer our customers the best quality and tasting experience through top quality products in various formats: Grated, Slices, Cubes, Portions, among others. Our commitment is to guarantee the highest quality of product and service to all our customers. For this we have a dynamic, young, trained and equipped team with the best techniques and knowledge. We have the most modern technology and facilities that have allowed high productivity rates, maintaining the high quality index in all our products.
All production and logistics are computerised in order to meet all the quality and traceability standards that today’s market demands.
Our objectives are to innovate and respond to the daily needs of consumers and companies, always guaranteeing maximum quality and food safety.
In order to guarantee the food safety of all products commercialised by us, tests are performed daily in an internal quality process. In line with our concern for food safety, all our cheeses are subjected to periodic analysis and all have a technical sheet with all the information relating to: organoleptic, microbiological and chemical characteristics, shelf life, packaging, packing and transport instructions.
Lourofood is a company that is arm in arm with environmental issues and is therefore a company that bets a lot on sustainability. It has solar panels that produce more than half the energy used, uses a large part of the energy that would be lost to the atmosphere and recycles all the cardboard and plastic used.
